Tonight's tonic: "Controversial north Yonge bike lanes made permanent by city council"

I wrote about this last month, calling for the Midtown Yonge Complete Street pilot project to be made permanent.  Today, Toronto City Council did just that, listening to the city's data showing cycling and pedestrian use of the corridor is way up, while impacts on motorists have been minimal.    

Looking forward to continuing to cycle north or south along Yonge Street in Toronto on this corridor more safely than before the pilot.   Thank you to the activists at Yonge4All for their advocacy making this a reality!
